Yes, FlashBootPro does it's job really great. I have currently RX580 in my main machine. I will try Windows 7 in few weeks again on that. I tested i like 2 years back.
After a lot of test. It only can work on the machine that the BIOS without any csm moudles, and the graphic cards ony Nvidia GTX series, can not support GTX1650S,GTX1660,GTS1660S,GTS1660TI, all RTX 20xx series, all AMD cards.
First, make sure what the mainboards you have. The mainboards can only OEM platfroms. Second, the cards can not GTX16XX (TU117 cards can work)and RTX20xx and AMD.
So I tried with a gtx1650 and rx550...Just bought the 1650, almost bought a 1050TI instead.... and it would've worked?? Using flashboot. BTW, The option for bootable clone is greyed out...I'm running 7 (with CSM) but multibooting 10 & 11. 7 was installed first and is the boot drive, is this why? Or I see it just says 8*/10/11 but the website and instructions list cloning of 7. Has that been dropped? Obviously it was supported- can I get an earlier version? (Guess it's more a question for PrimeExpert, but hasn't been here since mid Feb)
All my attempts to load Windows 7 ends by the frozen logo (Dell Optiplex 7090). I suppose that FlashBoot would help, but I do not want to buy the Pro version just to find that it does not work either. Is there some .ISO file available to download, patched by FlashBootPro, which I could test?
since which year windows 7 doesn't boot with pure uefi (uefi without secure boot also won't boot in my laptop). I'm just telling, i am new at installing win7 to pure uefi.
Doesn't have been that ways since a fixed date, but has to do with UEFI classes/generations. Up to and including UEFI class 2, all is fine and dandy. UEFI class 2 has CSM (Compatibility Support Module) and emulates the BIOS INT10 VGA routines Windows 7 needs to boot (as W7's partial UEFI support does not support GOP at all). The newer class 3 UEFIs do not have the CSM anymore, and only OS with GOP support will boot. That's why Windows 7 will hang at the flag logo, here. Also, Windows 7 does not have any SecureBoot support and will not boot with it enabled.
Thanks To Covid 19, Intel 10th/11th gen laptops Still Support Windows 7 Installations using Flashboot Without Any Problems.
Sorry, I Mean Did you Tried Updating Vbios Of Problematic Graphics Cards ? Sometimes Updating vbios Can Fix Booting Problems Of GFX Cards.
