    Yup, that's correct.
I'm playing around with this right now.

That Poweroff tool was just something i found.

    @wvv000
My TSE updated to service pack 6
    Locate: en_winnt_4.0_tse_sp6_128bit_20000413.iso\I386\HAL.DLL.SOFTEX
(note: different hal's exist, this is for a "Standard PC" installation - English, srv std and tse use same HAL.DLL.SOFTEX but service pack for srv std and tse is different)

    HAL.DLL.SOFTEX goes here:
    %systemroot%\system32
    rename hal.dll > hal.bak - rename hal.dll.softex > hal.dll

    There is also: en_winnt_4.0_tse_sp6_128bit_20000413.iso\I386\PPNTAPM.SYS

    PPNTAPM.SYS goes here:
    %systemroot%\system32\drivers

    Run ppntapm_add.reg

You must reboot for settings to take effect

This is shutdown.exe from Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Resource Kit > WinWorld
    shutdown.exe /L /R /T:0 /Y /C

Next time NT machine will shutdown completely

    Revert, run ppntapm_delete.reg and reboot
    All files needed in7z

Is it practical, can we improve something here?
