My KMSMicro v3.10 was working perfectly activating both Windows 8 and Office 2013. Now suddenly I get an error message when trying to activate: "ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated. The count reported by your Key Management Service (KMS) is insufficient. Please contact your system administrator." When I check the KMS State on the KMS Server I get for Windows:- Total Requests Received: 207 Failed Requests Received: 0 Requests with License Status Unlicensed: 0 Requests with License Status Licensed: 13 Requests with License Status Initial grace period: 0 Requests with License Status License expired or Hardware out of tolerance: 0 Requests with License Status Non-genuine grace period: 0 Requests with License Status Notification: 194 For Office 2013:- Total Requests Received: 37 Failed Requests Received: 15 Requests with License Status Unlicensed: 0 Requests with License Status Licensed: 13 Requests with License Status Initial grace period: 0 Requests with License Status License expired or Hardware out of tolerance: 0 Requests with License Status Non-genuine grace period: 0 Requests with License Status Notification: 9 Like I said all was well until 3-4 days ago. I did do a big update to both Windows 8 and Office 2013 using the Windows Update on my computers. Has Microsoft patched the software to not make it work anymore? Please help. Thanks.
No, that's the total number of requests received. The "current count" is something else. Besides, the "current count" is supposed to max out at 50 for Windows and at 10 for Office.
The thing is though, when it worked fine to activate, the count was almost the same anyway. So I don't think the count has anything to do with it.
My "current count" is 1 for both Windows and Office 2013. So this needs to be >25 for Windows and >5 for Office 2013? Is this correct? So to increase this "current count" I need to use the little tool provided in "crazysharats post"? Where will I find it? Thanks!
Sorry that I post to this old thread, but, I'm having the same problem (using win8.1 Pro x64 and Office 2013 x86 and KMSMicro 5.0.1) I've tried to use the KMS Emulator with KMSMicro following this post: but it doesn't work. In details: KMSMicro uses by default the "TAP" driver (screenshot: i.imgur.com/IDM2V70.png ) So I've tried the following: - run this .bat file -in an elevated cmd- (it always executes successfully, btw) Code: KMS_Client.exe 1688 127.0.0.2 Windows KMS_Client.exe 1688 127.0.0.2 Office2013 and then - run KMSMicro Console by changing the above option to: Network 127.0.0.2:1688 and although the KMSmicro Console is loaded ok. this is what I get when I try to activate Windows : Any ideas, please?
Error indicates that no Local Host Bypass is used, that tool is pretty ancient. Try Microsoft Toolkit or KMSpico from my signature.
Thanks a lot for your post. I used Microsoft Toolkit, an it activated ok both Windows and Office Just one thing, please: I pressed in Microsoft Toolkit: AutoKMS>Install Activate AutoKMS>Uninstall Is it ok, or should I keep the AutoKMS scheduled task installed? I'd prefer not, if possible.
If you only want to activate manually no need to install AutoKMS, as it is only used by the scheduled task. Pressing 'Activate' starts the Emulator and stops it after activation. Keep an eye on the grace time counter to not run out of activation .
30 days before activation expires, Windows & Office start showing the nag message "you need to activate your software" so I don't have to remember when they expire Thanks once more for your useful posts!
