thanks . managed to download successfully but i cannot add slic table . have tried three times already , any setting that i should change in the bios beforehand ?
The MOD must be flashed with Emergency bios flash method, look "readme" for details. This MOD was confirmed "as Working" many times
i have done it as per read me file says . i see activity on usb stick but it only logs back onto windows 8 and when i check for slic its not there .
secureboot disabled and the same . i have these other options secure boot disable load legacy option rom enabled boot list option uefi gonna try with another usb stick just in case
Hi again, sorry to bump this. I was wondering if soldering a new bios chip (cheap on Ebay) would fix this. Did the flash write some region which is not restored with the original bios? That's an old laptop, I'm on wifi so no problem, I'm interested in why this happened.
