Hello guys, I'd like to install a new network card in my laptop (HP 240 G3) but turns out there's a whitelist on the BIOS . The bios itself is an Insyde, version F.32. I have the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 currently. So two questions... Can anyone please help me in "unlocking" the bios, and could I put any physically compatible (i.e. half-size) cards in my laptop if the whitelist were removed? Thanks in advance, and pleas excuse any ignorant statements! EDIT: I forgot to add that I can disable network card boot in the bios. Does this mean I can put any card without the computer refusing to boot?
