Hi, I am new here! I replaced my failed motherboard with one with BIOS v1.03 InsydeH20 Rev 5.0. The problem is that the touchpad doesn't work now. The old motherboard's bios has Touchpad option, while the new one is missing a touchpad in the main menu. Is it possible to modify the new bios so that a Touchpad options appear?
I think this one neither has unlocked menus. It's made by conghoaxa1 who mostly does SLIC insertion mods.
@Pacorretaco Find the one patched by Camiloml. He made mods for the majority of decade old HP latops.
Yes thank you I am aware that these patches do exist and were uploaded here multiple times, both by Camiloml and by TTAV134. The problem is that all the links I could find dont seem to work anymore. I guess you are confirming to me, that all those links (some from 2021 or newer, not that old) are indeed not working. So it was not just me... It seems a bit sad situation really, not just for my files but I see that many other files here are getting lost also.
Hello, I have a dead laptop due to a faulty AMD discrete graphics card. The device freezes and no video is displayed on the internal or external screen, making it impossible to access the BIOS setup. I need a modified BIOS that completely disables or bypasses the AMD dGPU without requiring any changes inside the BIOS setup, as I cannot access it at all. Laptop model: HP Pavilion dv6-6070se Motherboard: Quanta LX6 System Board ID: 1657 BIOS version: F.1B (sp55068) I have a CH341A programmer and can flash the BIOS chip directly. Please help me create or provide a modded BIOS that will boot the system using only the internal Intel GPU. I also have the original BIOS dump and board schematic if needed.
