    Hi all,

been a lurker on this forum for some time but could really do with some assistance with this BIOS? There is a previous Vaio BIOS that has been modded but this won't work on my machine.

I'm looking for SLIC 2.1 added to the following rom:

    Request SLIC 2.1
    Model: Vaio VGNZ11WN
    BIOS Type: Insyde
    BIOS Version: R2170M3

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am using Presario C722TU which uses the sp41279 bios as well. The laptop came with original Vista and SLIC 2.0 in bios. I have tried to flash the bios which I download from mgzbsd link above but it still show SLIC 2.0 when I use SLIC DUMP ToolKit to check. I have tried both flashing in windows and dos. Have I missed out anything? Any help will be appreciated.

Also let me ask you a question. What do you mean by "tried flashing in Window (by USB Booting+ place Flas**t together with KAL90X64)"? This has to be done in pure DOS not Windows. And what is "CMD command"?
