Hi, i don't know where to find your bios v 1.07 or 1.04 cause all the official Acer website has is v 1.24 and 1.27 for you TM. Maybe you can send an e-mail to the support explaining the situation and asking them to provide you with one. Also you said you have tried v 1.07 from TM 8371 and it worked? So then it could be it - just stick with it i guess. But anyway my first choice would a letter to the support :)

str8, thanks for the reply, however i am noe exactly sure what you are asking for. How do i retrieve this RW report. I would be happy to get it to you. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am not an expert when it comes to acronyms.

    Thanks!

If it can help sombody with INSYDE BIOS I solved so:

I used original_name.fd, name.bin, first_four_digit.bin, first_four_digit.fd, last_four_digit.bin and last_four_digit.fd together, copied them on a usb stick, pressed win+b key, plugged in power and power on my NB bu still no luky. Since I didn't heard any beep and didn't seen any led on usb stick I decided to format as fat32 a old p-ata hard disk using an external HD-box, copied all that files on it and tried again with success.

    Regards!

No problem ma man :). But remember if the slic still remains 2.0 then you should try flashing from DOS.
