    I have a question: Why does your rw everything report show that your bios before flashing the bios has slic 2.1?

    My guess is that you used a loader to activate windows in the past and you did not uninstall it and as a result my modified bios is blamed to have bricked your computer....when in fact, the only thing that changed with my mod was a pubkey marker and not the slic and the problem lies with that loader.

    I'd like to get SLIC 2.1 in this laptop but I don't think the Gateways have any BIOS updates and links to BIOSes. I believe it is the same machine as an Acer AOD250. Has anyone tried flashing the modded Acer AOD250 BIOS on this Gateway?
