Yesterday, I successfully updated my Gateway LT2003i (LT20 series) bios with the lastest Acer Aspire One AOD250. So, flashing your LT2005u with modded Acer AOD250 bios would do. Dont forget to change some of the flags on the insydeflash platform.ini settings or else the SLIC will not be inserted to the bios.
The files you required are in Modified Bios and Utility Folder. -INSYDEFLASH Bios Utilities Included - Flash bios in windows using insydeflash - right click on insydeflash and run as administrator and follow on-screen instructions - if you choose flash bios in DOS, use flas**t and modified bios file on bootable usb flash drive and at command prompt in DOS, type: F.BAT <ENTER>
I tried flashing in Windows. It does the same. Thanks for your efforts. I might have to use a loader...
I downloaded the original bios extract the JM...exe and change the original .fd with the one in the moded bios. I can assure you there is no problem for flashing with this insyde flash flasher from windows (at least as long as you are upgrading the version). Thanks again i also managed to activate with acer certificate .
Hi,str8 I've sovled my problem by using HP EEPROM V1.0B......Just change OS SKU to 1 (come wth Vista)
These are too easy to mod manually without decompressing..why use the tool????? Little risk with direct mod???
