ckecked with dump toolkit and it said it was 2.0 . current bios is 1.1 and newsest is 1.8 . if i flsh bios with 1.8 will i be given the option to enable 2.1 ? i ahve seen that there are other satellite pros herelike the l310d which should be a newer model but not the model in question
No, you will not be given an option to enable your slic. You will either have it or not. As i said in my previous post in order to enable a slic (if necessary) you must use special so-called DMI tools which we do not possess here.
Ok, you must do this in DOS. After you made that USB you have to copy HPBC259.exe onto it, then boot your computer from the USB you made and only then follow the instructions.
