    str8, would you be able to point me in the right direction to get that whitelist updated/removed. It's kind of important that I be able to accomplish this as this laptop is gonna be useless unless I can get my hands on an original wifi card that this thing came with. thanks.

    Hi, if knew anything useful about this i would definitely post my suggestion but unfortunately i don't :(
    There were a few attempts somewhere on this forum to fix a similar problem but if i'm not mistaken they weren't successful. All i can advise to you is to try searching through google - that's what i would do.

    I have a Sony VGN-SR26GN series Insyde h2o bios update fail. now the computer is brick. battery light blinks. powers on, thats it. I know easiest way it to swap MB but warranty just over. damn viao updates!
    the hotkeys win+B, Fn+esc to boot to USB these keys not working for sony machines. Anyone know what hotkey to boot to USB? PLEASE HELPP!!!!! PM ME ASAP!!

    Unfortunately i don't think there is a successful recovery method for Sony after a bad flash. About half a year ago a Sony user had to take it to a service to fix it.

    Hi, please explain what do you mean? The bios file HAS been modded with Acer slic 2.1 (as there is NO PackardBell one with version 2.1). Did you flash it from DOS? Please upload RW-everything report.
