yes exactly. for the time being i feel good with the lo*der and activated windows 7 so i wont format. good job with the modded bios you guys even though i cant format now to test what you tell me. if anyone knows any other way to remove the lo*der i will be more than willing to try. by the way this leaked key is only for slic table with this hpqoem info?
You only needed to cut if you dealing with the crashed bios file when opening the tools... if not then you don't have to do that row of zeros is the head module, and yes everything is done in Winhex direct memory
And one last question brother. I see using method 4+2+4+4 i can find and change OEMID and OEMtableID in the slic's header. But the public key and the marker - is it better to change it by hand in WinHex also or is it safer to use EZH2O to get this job done? Like i could swap pubkey and marker first and then go and do the direct memory OEMID change in the slic header? which method is confirmed to be working? Thank you
Changing method always happens in winhex... ezh2o only for load/save... method confirm to be working is all of the changing is done in one go... I never test if you do it more than one go... couldn't risk it at member's mainboard
