You must be doing something wrong. As str8 mentioned, this BIOS has SLIC 2.1 and nothing else. It does not have SLIC 2.0 anywhere in it. So if you are getting a SLIC 2.0 result from the SLIC Toolkit, then you must have some loader or something installed.
mine is also same problem....any solution for this...same error :Error : BIOS did not support this version of flash
I guess Acer flash prevent it to flash all, I tried flash it from Windows and the flasher says : Current bios id ZQ1_NON, I guess NON meaning NON OS so there is a switch in the flasher to prevent to flash to SLIC 2.1. Is there any New DOS flasher so I can use it with no error? THX All
Have you tried the .exe that comes in DOS folder? Try running it in DOS environment and see what happpens, also see if you can apply that "/all" switch (without quotes). I can't test it myself cause mine is Phoenix.
Hi , i have a big Problem !! I got recently from u guys my Bios for my HP dv7-1030eg Laptop.... all worked fine, i updated it, and all worked fine... THen i restarted it, and suddenly 1 light at the left side next to keyboard starts blinking, and the second one on the right top side also.... it doesnt react anymore, and i read in internet, that i might have to reset my Bios.... I NEVER had since today ANY PRoblems with BIos updates or else... and i did quite a lot, i even finished 1 2 weeks ago on a Gigabyte Board...
