Sorry, I dont know what r trying to say, but if u ask bout activation for windows 7 u still need the proper certificate (for u compaq-HP) n the OEM-SLP key but u don't need the loader again becuz slics had reside in bios, not in boot sector from hdd partition.
It's working for insyde bios too, dont get fooled by the plash16.exe, it's not phoenix bios flashing tools. I've try with lenovo G555 (same as ludak) that had Insyde bios, not phoenix. Please don't interrupt if u haven't test it yet.
does it also work for HP/Compaq CQ42-258VX bios? Because i tried all hp marker tools and none of them worked tahnk you

(He has stopped to mod Insyde bioses) ar_seven_am, it seems you are modifying Insyde bioses here now @all Please don't push this thread with too many requests. I'm very happy that ar_seven_am (and others) are continue to modifying here. Insyde bioses are easily to recover IF you know how to kick in the recovery (key combination) AND you know the right filename for the recovery. There seems to be a way to figure any name for the recovery already. After a few more tests I suggest to andy to implement it into the tool. ar_seven_am, uncleraven thank you very much for modifying Insyde bioses (and others, too). Take your time you need and don't let them push too much..
