    it's becuz the tools save the DMI data too, it's really usefull if u dont want to write a note bout SN, manufactured etc, so if u want to restore the bios to its original state after u mods the bios, the Universal Bios Backup Toolkit it's highly recommend.

    thank you for your reply Ar_seven_am.
    I've downloaded that program, in the form Slic Diagnosis, i can read:
    OEMID/tableID: X&rsdt: == PubKey == Marker version 2.1 Digital Signature: OK.
    I guess that 2.1 is my SLIC, right?
