I didn't mod the bios, in fact its original bios from acer aspire 4740 v1.09, but there's no problem right? So by now I'm sure that u've downgrade/change ur bios from the modded ones n it change all, even ur lappy version change too Loxx mods failed becuz it delete the existence RSDT table, mine failed becuz I add extra RSDT table, hmmmmmm, I'll contact str8, just wait!

BSOD is not the same as bricked the lappy n then u've to recover, n 1 question will appear, how do u recover the bios if the original bios file doesn't exist? How? NOTE : IF THE ANSWER IS SP1 PROGRAMMER FLASHING (SOME KIND OF THAT) THEN WE SHOULD THINK AGAIN, I GUESS THE ORIGINAL BIOS DOWNLOAD FILE IS REQUIRED TO MODS THE BIOS INCASE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG HAPPEN N U WILL HAVE THE BACKUP PLAN!!! Please don't offend somebody that wants to give a good advice. ar_seven_am is a responsible bios modder that doesn't take the risk to mod a backuped bios. You did a mod made from a backup! Can you assure that the backup is working? If not you have modded a broken backup bios. The result will be that the mod isn't working as well AND the backup is useless for recovery!!! A flash may go bad, even with a original bios. Can you take that risk?? Would you pay for repair? Normally you can backup EFI, no problem. The DMI doesn't matter, the size should match the EEPROM size But you should tell the requester that there is an additional risk. A loader would be much safer. The mod probably works, but there is a higher risk to try for!
