Loxx, he need to enable hardware virtualization support (currently default on board based AMD processor, not intel) not enable slics 2.1
Ok so i did a bsel mod on my hp dv4 1435dx(easily done and reversible) and as everybody ive talked to ran into the lowest 6x multiplier lock. The bios is definetly communicating with windows to underclock. I know this for 1 reason when windows boots it gathers parameters like bus speed, memory specs and cpu speed. Under the registry and computer properties it states 2.79 ghz which would be the highest multiplier 10.5x. But cpuid, cpuz and other programs show its using the 6x multi. Is it possible that you can mod the bios to stop speedstep permanetly? and what info would you need. Your help is much appreciated ive spent every day for the past week lost on a solution :-( and im not a terrorist just deployed in iraq :-(
