i had thought being a 5v fan i could connect it to a usb port or something but wouldnt the computer detect the fan isnt plugged in where its supposed to be, pretty sure that could be overcome with a diode(wrong thing maybe) how would physically doing it be more beneficial than through the bios? i would be happy to take a look at it myself but i have no idea where to start, even after reading about changing parameters in the bios
yes i understand the fan speed is control and check by the system, but who will take the time to disassemble and understand the code of a bios without any technical documentation only for that. try to see if the fan +V is connect to a smd transistor, if yes make a short beetween E an C
please help me..problem with my acer aspire timeline 4810TZ..i try to update te bios from an .exe runing on wondows..then something terrible happen..my lcd went to blank! and when i restart my laptop lcd also went to blank..nothing apears..please help me asap...
