    Hi,

I want to enabled access to the Advanced BIOS menu on my Insyde BIOS for a HP Pavilion dv6-4006tx Australian. However there are no bios files on the website for this laptop. What are my options? Can I use a utility to save it from the active machine, put it on the web for you guys to mod for me? If so, which one do you recommend? Alternatively what are the mod steps to enable the menu. I can use a hex editor.

Have you tried pressing "a" after F10 or whatever key it is to get you into the BIOS setup? It works on the dm1 w/o having to mod the BIOS.

    The first mod.
Dynamic method, in Advanced options: tick NoSlic, four options for manual modification and when asked - editing the one of the modules with hexagonal editor.
Second. Dynamic method, the default settings.
