    You still could, and it would flash just as well under Vista as Win7. You'd just have to use a Lo*der to activate Win7.

    Hi,

    I have seen here a moded bios for ACER 7720g, 5720g and 5715z, that bios version is v1.45

    It was moded with HP SLIC2.1

    But no body confirm that it is O.K or not (no feedback) i search the thread but i could not find confirmation.

    i already have maybe the first mod for the insyde (by Yen) ACER 5720G, with ACER SLIC2.1 but as everybody know there is no certificate, so i want to switch to HP SLIC2.1

    In order not to brick my PC i am searching for feedback for the bios moded with the HP SLIC

    Really? Ok. Open "platform.ini" file in notepad and change this parameter to "0":

    [Platform_Check]
    flag=0

    save the changes and try again.
