    Well, no answer, but I tested
    So it works just great, no bios hacking needed, installed HP cert and SLIC key, many thanks for the feedback

    Just a last note please.

    Anyway to unhide the advanced parts from that bios?

    hum im seeing, now with my CPU mod, it HEATS more faster, how can i change the speed to Fan spins faster at some temperature values.
    So you only change The setup.txt and when flash bios the values of .txt pass to bios?

    @ttav134 I have a hp dv7 4295 bios ver F.0a I would like modded to remove whitelist. However I cannot find a link to it. further I see above it showing as phoenix but I am sure it is insyde can you point me in the right direction to get the info you need?

    It can be an EFI phoenix bios, anyway without a valid manufacturer bios i cannot make a diagnostic for your whitelist removal request.

    Sorry for mistake....
    And my feedback its not good at all, the advanced menu appears but i cannot save any option when press F10 to save changes and quit simply notebook freezes! sorry and thanks

    Hi, New here. Just bought a new HP DV6tqe. I want to switch out the Intel 1000 wlan card with the Intel 6230. But of course the bios won't allow it. The current BIOS is F.06. I'm hoping that someone might be able to help. A white list removed BIOS would be appreciated.
