    sp52812.exe or sp52469.exe, a hack is not needed and not possible, use HP DMI TOOLKIT to unhidde definitely the SLIC table
    Before claiming it will not work, make a test.
    That's the only way you have.

    thank you for your assistance and guidance. I used hp tool and before I did it, in bios it says not shipped with vista but after I did it now in bios it says win 7

    I think ı did it.

    As soon as I load my windows system, I will tell wether it works or not.
