    It is a new SLIC lock protection in bios (was not there in version 1.21) , i can remove it once at home.

    note: RW report is always needed for any diagnostic, can you upload it please.

    don't play with files please, they are patched to allow flashing dumped bios, the only place you can investigate is platform.ini

    example:

    [Platform_Check]
    Flag=3 --> 0



    and remember:
    The bios of this machine is not hackable, it is an experimental method with a dumped one.

    Ok, understood.

    I did the change you suggested in platfom.ini and InsydeFlash was able to go forward without an error, then forced a reboot, which triggered the HP Bios Update utility.

    Unfortunately, after I clicked on the "Apply Update Now" to proceed, it said "The System Bios Update Failed."

    Any other suggestion?

    hi.. is there a change to mod bios from pavilion g6?? i searched for a few hours..on google and here..and nothing found..why?? thanks a lot..
