Oh, winflash.bat seems to be for x86 NOT x64 :(
Check it again. It contains "InsydeFlash" NOT "InsydeFlashx64"

    May I use XP x86 ?

Are you using my upload? Please download what I have uploaded and try. I have to know exactly what you are using so I can help.
If still not working then lets try to flash your 1-st bios file. Copy the following to a separate empty folder and try to run "InsydeFlash.exe"

    iscflash.dll
    InsydeFlash.exe
    30F3F2A.FD
    UMA.ini
    iscflash.sys
    iscflashx64.sys

    P.S. - before using rename UMA.ini to platform.ini

Nope. You need to be sure the name of the recovery file needed. The procedure is not difficult and works, it seems that the name of the file is the stinker.

I would not recommend modifying the Sony bios..This has been a sticking point for some time, this is not a recent problem.

If you flash a Sony mod, you will brick your computer.....I would bet on it.

Thank you for the clarification. Do you recommend DELL/HP SLIC 2.1 instead of SONY's?

I have original .ROM file. Do I still have to backup BIOS? Just in case, can you tell me backup switches for InsydeFlash.exe and Emergency recovery process.

    Thank you
