    help please!!!!

    i know this may not be the right forum but its a emergency i flashed my bios on a acer aspire d255 using a windows utility and now when the laptop comes on the screen just lights up and nothing else happens so can anyone tell me how to use the bios recovery feature one this motel acer please :(

    InsydeH20 Recovery

    For Toshiba devices F + Power
    For HP devices Fn + Esc + Power/Fn + B +Power
    For acer devices Fn + Esc

    and a USB Stick with 2 GB size formatted FAT (Not FAT32!) with the BIOS.fd file on it. To find out the recovery BIOS.fd filename you can use AndyP´s Phoenix Tool.

    Something is now quite wrong. I inserted the win 7 installation disk and it will not install. It instead goes into windows boot manager but will not run saying "An unexpected error has occurred". Status 0cx0000225

    Not good.

    I now have a BSOD saying the BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated bios"
