    Is there any way to change Acer model type in Insyde bios settings?

    Can anyone help me? I got a replacement mainboard for an Acer Aspire 7720g but the numeric keypad didn't work. I checked and found that the mainboard had been flashed with Aspire 5720g v1.44 bios. Is it possible to reflash to 7720g modding the keyboad config and model version details which are normally protected during the upgrade process? i.e. How can I edit the protected bootblock?
