Bios.fd is to rename the original Mc10r120.fd 1. In setting the BIOS to get you? 2. check AHCI mode or IDE.
hi Loxx.. got system to boot again flashed original OEM bios. i tried both (AHCI and IDE modes) but no luck same blue screeen with the massage "Bios not fully ACPI compliant". so no SLIC 2.1 in system by now, cant activate win7. i tried modding myself with phoenixtool195 and flashed with insyde windows flash utility same problem Shall i use other tools to mod insyde H2O bios? basically this mod request is insert the slic2.1 into the bios... Download Bios from toshiba's website. Extract files with Winrar to folder where you can locate files easily. 2. Locate a ".FD", its your bios file. 3. Rename it to BIOS.FD. 4. Copy it to a USB. (I used a bootable usb but i dont think it should matter). 5. Connect usb to your dead Laptop. 6. PRESS "FN" & "F" KEY TOGETHER AND SWITCH ON THE POWER OF YOUR LAPTOP. (BEFORE THIS STEP POWER SHOULD BE SWITCHED OFF). 7. You will see power LED of laptop blinking release the all switches immediately. 8. bios will be flashed automatically. by then your laptop screen will remain black.
thank you! how could i build up a *.rom file out of this package? my g565 is pricked with a bad bios and i´ll read that i´ll have to press fn+r on startup and have inserted a usb stick with a *.rom file in it. any ideas?
