recovery procedure: Disconnect computer Unplug all cables from the HDD, FDD Insert the CD with the drivers of this motherboard Hold CTRL+Home and include POWER
I have ran into this trouble but I managed to regain control after press and hold MEMOK for a few seconds. It restart and request to press F1 to get into setup. Once I am in setup I reflash the bios to it original state under tools. Hope that help but I believe your issue is slightly different which I could not help. May worth a try to restore bios to default setting by clearing the bios with the pin in the motherboard, check your user manual for instruction.
I had to try it 4-5 times before it got past POST. I can tell you what I did, no idea if it will help you... 1) Unplug all USB devices except for your keyboard. 2) Power on machine with power button. Wait for it to freeze 3) Power off by holding power button for 4 seconds. 4) Power on by holding MEMOK for ~10 seconds(keep it pressed after power on starts) 5) Repeat 2-4 until past POST 6) Boot into freedos from ASUS CD and flash stock, unmodified BIOS with the same version.
remove whitelist Hi, Domin8r here.. I've been looking at older posts to try and kill whitelist for a (buyer's remorse) HP G60-441us with bios revision F.65, SP51485.exe, will even go back a few revisions if it'll help. Have various cards bought with HP written on them but none work (all bluetooth combos - want internal bluetooth instead of dongle) and they are 1/2 height cards instead of full height like the atheros ar5009 that came with it. Don't want to brick the thing but am an experimenter at heart. Haven't found an already done bios that I can just flash - is there one out there??? I have an oooollldddeerrr Compaq V2000 that came with a blutooth combo, why the step backwards from hp?? Can you help - I'm willing to do the hex editing if that's what it takes, but want salient instructions (as if telling an 8 year old) so I don't screw up! Lemme know - email is domin8rq@gmail.com thanx in advance Dom View attachment 14073
