Yes, you are right. But if you are thinking about using a new Acer certificate then weiner said it didn't work for him. I don't know. If you want I can just change your Acer slic 2.0 to 2.1 so both are going to be the same. Then you can use that certificate for sure. It's not a big deal though since a slic is used only for the offline windows activation - doesn't affect on your computer functionality.
Pity, I was hoing somebody could help Obviously there must have been a version of flas**t that was working with this mobo (both nort & south bridge) Just a matter of finding what the right version... sebus
Thanks for reporting back Missit Not all Insyde BIOS is using same structure... I guess there are some variant on the BIOS itself... ie. Sony use wbflash, some hp use compressed bin with flashchk first, etc... So it possible that your Insyde BIOS can be back up using different tools than flas**t... I think its best if you're using lo*der instead of trying to mod the bios
This PC would not run Win7 nicely, so the execise to get the BIOS was to see if I can remove/change the bitmap in it If I wanted Win7 I would just use the my legal MSDN keys sebus
Well regardless sony using wbflash, the bios itself can be successfully backed up by flas**t. But that's not the case for you here... Have you try to search the manufacturer site BIOS update for similar type of board? maybe they included the flash tools with it... just a though

Now that I'm enjoying Activated Win7, I would like to get all hardware working. In my device manager I see 3 base system device driver missing (see pic). Please help...
