it flashed the rom (didnt know it was going to flash right there from windows) and then it restarted my computer but now safe mode screen comes on saying "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause" so i put my windows vista dvd in and restart computer i select x64 version and then the computer starts reading the dvd....it then gives me a blue screen saying "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" The bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant" please contact your system vendor for an updated bios i reflashed the official 2.20 bios and i am now booted back into windows...i checked and i am still activated. where did i mess up
what does "remove the loader" mean? i didnt remove anything and ran the "mod" directory insyder.exe as admin and it says "the version of the ROM file is the same version of the BIOS" but i just flashed an original/official v2.20 from toshiba ?
for the last time. OPATool or DAz windows loader ( IF IT SEES BIOS SLIC 2.1 IT ONLY INSTALLS CERT AND KEY NOT BOOTLOADER) OF COURSE IF U DIDNT FLASH WITH 2.1 SLIC THEN BOOTLOADER INSTALLED= BAD
yea im not one of those people who just click anything...espicially when it comes to my OS. guess all the years of running windows on the internet taught me that. im not elite either i just like to be more then a click boy
i do have a question but its not about opatool or DAz its about the modded bios that im running that is working with win7 home premium and cert and oem:slp i used to be able to (with stock bios) just install a fresh clean install of vista x64 and pick the correct version of windows in the list that my laptop shipped with and then i would not enter the key during the install. after i got to desktop i would connect to the internet and then right click "my computer" and hit "change key" and i then would enter the key on bottom of laptop and windows would activate. can i still do that with the modded bios if i wanted or is that option now gone?
sorry, bad english Some models like as asus....,you can activate online. no need to insert the cer and key
guess i will have to try and a do a re-install later on today to find out. i will report back later about this laptop and the modded bios if it can do originally what the stock bios did as far as activating.
