I made this mod for your request.
This method has been tested on previous versions of the bios for this PC.

cool, I will give it a go and let you know the result. Thanks very much.

    edit:

Is there a walk-through guide or post anywhere explaining how to flash my BIOS from windows - do I simply double-click the executable file after booting into Windows?

Second - There are several executable files within the folder: FlsHook, FWUpdLcl and InsydeFlash64 -< I assume it's this one - is that right?

Lastly- can I update from any version of the BIOS (currently running v2.14) or it is necessary to v2.18 before attempting this?

    Cheers,

    Easy

Flash original (non modified) v2.18 bios, then, after reboot - flash modified bios: run Insydeflash.exe (or Insydeflashx64.exe for Win x64) as Administrator

Load Bios Defaults and check IDE / AHCI

    555LE, Serg008:

Thanks. I just updated that it is now working and what I think the problem was (I changed some settings with dmi toolkit).
