    Dead Thread

    I think this thread is dead ... No one is responding to my messages.

    If it isn't then kindly inform me about this problem:

    1. I have changed my OS SKU to Windows 7 from No Operating system. Now I want to install Windows 8 with KMS. Would it activate?

    2. How can I revert back to original BIOS settings?

    I have HP pavillion g6 1139tx
    Insyde H20 Bios version f63
    SLIC 2.1

    Bump for this one. Really need it to install a new OS. Can't get the new OS to recognize the hard drive unless it is in AHCI mode.

    I've been trying to get a response on a BIOS mod for my Acer Iconia 6120 - repeatedly - and got no response. I think this thread is just people pointing to existing mods for the models that have already been dealt with. I could be wrong but at this point I've given up on this forum being any help at all.
