Thank you! Windows is now activated I've seen that method somewhere on the forum, even had similar files downloaded on the Desktop, but was reluctant to use it. It went very quickly and painlessly. May I ask how it was possible and what actually happens, in approximatively laymen terms? It seems nothing was actually flashed? Is there something I can read about it I have a chance to understand? Basically Lenovo disables the marker part of the SLIC on this non-Windows edition of the laptop. Serg008 supplied you leaked Lenovo utility which restores the marker part and thus full SLIC 2.1 is validated.
