HELP!!! I just purchased the Hp Envy dvt-7300 Quad Edition. It comes with Windows 8 (yuck!!!!!!) and I wanted to install Windows 7. I deleted all the partitions and started the Windows 7 installation, but I kept getting errors. So to install Win 7, either I needed to install the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology driver, but unfortunately that didnt work as I kept getting errors for that too and it said that I should contact HP, but I know HP and they will just say that this model laptop isnt designed for Windows 7 and will only work for Windows 8, but I know thats not true, or my only option now is to change the hard drive to IDE from AHCI or RAID, but HP locks down the BIOS so I have to get the unlocked modded BIOS, as the current Bios doesnt give me the option to change the AHCI settings. Im new to this, so first off, does anyone have a modded verison of this Bios (Insyde F.22)? And secondly, how do I flash the Bios if I dont have an operating system? Whats the process? Please if anyone can help would be sooooo greatful! I just purchased this awesome laptop and its sitting here collecting dust as a paper weight for now. I would post the link for the bios, but HP's website for my model is only hosting the F.24 verison so I dont know the F.22 verison's source for download and didnt know if its specific to HP or can be gotten from anywhere that has the Insyde F.22 Bios for download. HELP!!!! -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : HP Envy dv7t-7300 -Bios Revision : F.22 -Bios Type : Insyde -Bios Link : ?? not sure since HP's support site for this model has only F.24's Bios. EDIT: This was the original error msg when I tried to install Windows 7 .“Windows Setup could not configure Windows on this computer’s hardware” and the other message when trying to install the hard drive driver “Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller (D:\iaStorAC.inf) (x64)” ) before Windows 7 installation is "The [Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller (D:\iaStorAC.inf) (x64)] device driver could not be installed. Contact your vendor for an updated driver.".

I attempted to installed Windows 7 from a USB drive, but still prompts me for drivers for hard drive and the drivers I have dont work. Is my only option to mod the bios so I can change the AHCI settings? I cant seem to find anywhere a modded verison of the Insyde F.22 bios.
Hier it is laid out BIOS Fujitsu NH532 with SLIC 2.1 but my SLIC ToolKit dosn't find it after flashing. Can someone put the original BIOS version 2.x, and the site Fujitsu shows only v 1.x
