    Hi everyone!

    I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a solution for my BIOS problem. I need to change my bios to AHCI mode so I can create a hackintosh but there is no option for it. I know its supported because there is an AHCI controller in my device manager.

    Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Hewlett-Packard, Model 1484 (CPU)
    -Bios Revision : F.37
    -Bios Type : ?
    -Bios SLIC : ?
    -Bios Link : ?
    -Rw-everything report. ?

    I'm not sure where to find the last 4 details. Hopefully there is enough info! Pretty much I want to mod my bios so I can change AHCI. Im somewhat of a noob so your help will be appreciated!

    Basically your HDD is set in AHCI mode by default.

    Ignore me, I'm an id10t apparently... Used the PCID you suggested with a newer DMI Tool I grabbed from work. All is well
    It works perfectly. Thank you for your effort.

    @conghoaxa1

    He is talking about unlocked menus, not SLIC.

    It unlocks the advance menu of the DMI tool; not the bios itself.
