if u run hpbq145.exe then hold SHift (Fn to activate F1) F1 and type ADV it can let u change "original OS installed" to win 7 and change to Ultimate not Home prem.

    easier than changing pcid.

It worked even before I flashed with F.26. Thank you!!! I should've joined the forum sooner. I now have the original HP Windows 8 and HP Windows 7 on a separate partition with dual-boot and both are activated. I even added all the OEM branding to 7. :D Looks like changing the PCID didn't do anything to the Windows 8 activation status, which is nice. Should I still flash with F.26 or is it better to leave it the way it is? Will flashing with F.26 require changing the PCID again?

    这里我补充一下进入高级菜单的方法,楼主没说明白,键盘要在大写状态下先按F1,在一次按A,D,V不用一直按住 , 都只按一下就可以进入高级菜单了。
    can i misunderstood, sorry

You can flash F.26 or any future bios update without any hitch.
