    I just rechecked the mod and it's good. Did you flash your bios from DOS? If not then do it this way:

    1. - flas**t KALG0107.fd

    if still no go then:

    2. - flas**t KALG0107.fd /all

    Hi, there is nothing wrong with flashing from Windows :). The thing is that it doesn't always update the slic table and with Acer especially.

    You are very welcome :). And yes you can activate Vista as well - slic 2.1 is backward compatible.

    First try simple flas**t <yourbiosname>.FD If that don't work then add "/all" to it: flas**t <yourbiosname>.FD /all
