THANK YOU TITO and conghoaxa1 TOO, BUT NO SUCH OPTIONS THERE:

HP 655 SKU: B6N19EA#BCM (version with SUSE Linux for EMEA market).

I founded solution for SLIC 2.1 on HP Notebook 655 with SUSE Linux.

In pure DOS use utility HPBFO052.EXE from NbDmiFit-1.19 for inserting SLIC 2.1 directly into BIOS:
Call this utility and you are in Basic Menu. With F1 and Shift pressed type ADV - and you are now in Advanced Menu.
    1) from this Advanced Menu select (press) 2 for OS SKU and you can enter type of operating system shipped with NB as 2 = Win7 and confirm with ENTER. Then press ESC for return into menu.
    2) from Advanced Menu select C for Win7/Win8 Configuration and specify your version of Windows as 0 = Starter, 1 = Home Basic, 2 = Home Premium, 3 = Professional, 4 = Ultimate - confirm with ENTER and press ESC for return to menu.
    3) Now press 2x ESC for return to DOS
    4) reboot and check SLIC table in BIOS

HP 650 is diff from 655, where HPBFO052.EXE is include bios F.52. my machine have F.36, it's not same.
With F1 and Shift pressed type ADV - and you are now in Advanced Menu. - no option to type ADV.

may be somebody do modding for F.35/6?

    many thanks!

    Hi to all peoples!
    I have a Lap Top
    "STEG" Model:8089P
Recently, I went into the BIOS and put it back to factory settings.
After the computer restarts, no longer able to boot.
    Now, my screen says:

    Insyde MobilePRO BIOS Version 4.00
    Copuright 1983 - 2003
    =========================

    SYSTEM BIOS VERSION R1.07

(Reading physical memory, and shared video memory)

    Connected devices:
    HDD
    CD/RW Device
Insyde ACPI BIOS Initialized (Version 3.00.05) _

When I press "F2". Start sequence "SCU" but that all stops working and does not respond.
    What's the problem?
I would like someone who knows says that the BIOS version should be for this computer and some will post a link. Or if anyone knows of another solution besides flashing the BIOS.

    Thanks In Advance!
