    OK. Did not realize OpaTool was outdated. lol Will try manual. Quick question since we are on topic then I will not muddy the waters further...does Daz Loader install itself (a program) onto the PC or does it just install cert and key? I hate using loaders but DAZ's always seemed great.

    It just installs appropriate cert and serial if valid SLIC is detected. If not, then it installs the loader.

    OK. I saw about 4 or 5 different conversations on here about that and could not come to any one conclusion. Thanks a lot for clearing that up!

    For me, manually inserting newer cert solved the problem. I thought it was something to do with the BIOS being newer for Windows 8, etc. So all is well thanks to you guys. Can't say thankls and tell you how much I appreciate the help from Tito and Serg008!

    Thanks for that Tito, however I've got a problem. I've followed the instructions and updated the MB to F3, but when I use AMITool for the SLIC mod I get Status: Not AMI BIOS. What have I done (or am I doing) wrong?

    Its AMI EFI, not legacy AMI. So you need Phoenix Tool for modding.

    Btw, is the SLIC mod successful??
