Yes I bought the PC with Win 7 preinstalled. I had Windows Loader installed before but I had format the partition and did not have Windows Loader installed again.
If you bought the PC with preinstalled Windows 7, then you already have permanent SLIC 2.1. What else do you want??
Hey All ! I am a newbie in this forum. I'm a Portuguese guy, trying to find out a modded BIOS for my Acer 4820tg with switchable graphics. Here's my problem - Acer never updated switchable graphics driver since it's 1st release. So I've been searching everywhere how to update this piece of s***t, until I found "Leshcat's" site. That's a group of people that have this switchable tech in their laptops and want to upgrade ATI driver. However it's not possible to upgrade only ATI GPU because we have to upgrade the whole technology (ATI + Intel), and Leshcat's been doing nice the problem is that his modded drivers don't fully work for me, so I've moved on to another solution. Someone told me to try Modded BIOS and stick to ATI only. I've been searching all over the web (this forum included) for a Bios mod that enables me to disable Intel in BIOS, that way I can install only ATI as it was the only GPU it has. I saw one mod already but it's too buggy, many users complained about dark screens, BSOD's and so on.. That's a mod from notebookreview forum. Can you make a mod Like that please?
