    Hi guys. I have a lenovo ideapad U550. I have been trying install windows 8 on it for a while but no chance. My actually bios spec. are: Vendor: LENOVO

    PCI is supported
    BIOS is upgradeable
    BIOS shadowing is allowed
    Boot from CD is supported
    Selectable boot is supported

    Firmware Revision: 3.22
    Could I request a modded version of this bios? Thanks

    Sorry. The main error was ACPI bios not fully compliant. Plus a sad face told me that my pc ran into error and need to be restarted...I tried also installing 7 and xp with same results. My laptop was originally shipped with windows 7 home edition. On the Lenovo website no bios update present or planned. Thanks.:(
