    FPTW 8 (beside version 9) is inside the tool "BACKUP_FPT" and works (it dumps the same 4 MB-File as "Univerial BIOS Backup Tool").
    But this won't help as it can't be flashed back (as far as I know).
    As my BIOS is an InsydeH2O, it has to be dumped with InsydeFlash with option "-g", but here no output is produced.

    Well gee I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth but this one drank the chemical spill water in WV and DIED.

    The BIOS mod bricked my G73, thanks. Five hours trying EVERYTHING and nothing, It's totally dead. This is FAR from my first time at the rodeo, the last time I bricked a BIOS was at least 20 years ago.

    This sucks.
