Listen, don't use this one as it will be the same as the original. Try to make a CD from the image above.
Here's the AcpiTbls, it looks like it still doesn't recognize SLIC even after I flashed with the original BIOS, what should I do????
In AspiTbls you are looking at this part: Code: Software Licensing Description Table: 0xB7CEE000 53 4C 49 43 76 01 00 00 01 E8 54 4F 53 49 4E 56SLICv.....TOSINV 54 4F 53 49 4E 56 30 30 01 00 00 00 4D 53 46 54TOSINV00....MSFT 13 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00................ 00 00 00 00 00 00 ...... OK thanks I'm waiting! EDIT: Plz let me know if you're going to sleep so that I don't keep waiting! Thanks
But how can I test if I'm using a loader? str8, what if the problem is with the 1.90 BIOS? Shall I try downgrading to 1.80 which was already installed when everything was working? And then if it works we mod the 1.80?
Not a good idea. One or the other, do not mix the two. If you cannot get the mod to work, then goto the loader. @mschumacher69 how are you flashing? usb stick or floppy? The ISO will not work. This has been tried before. The previous problems were solved by flashing with only the flas**t and bios file on disk..no additional files... Previous toshiba A300 flashes only worked (updated) as this..: Code: 1. make a bootable dos flash drive 2. Copy flas**t and the fd file onto the drive once thats done 3. boot into dos 4. type "flas**t XXXX.fd (XXXX being the name of .fd file)
