@all , i humbly apologize in advance if this is the wrong Section to ask this question ... Am So sorry a Million times for my Mistakes if am wrong and would Appreciate any help towards the right direction, because i am kind of a Noob to this Topic ... Here goes: in our Group of Friends ( All Ladies ) they all think am an expert in Computer related matters as i always seem to have more knowledge in solving Issue. But the True secret is that i read up Information on Stuff and manage to keep Abreast on latest Software and Info Online from Forums like this. Now, one of my GF wants me to go Commando on her Toshiba Satellite L510 laptop and Upgrade the BIOS from its Current version of 1.10 to the Latest Version of 1.50 ... I downloaded the BIOS from Toshiba website and tried upgrading it after burning to a CD but it just gave an error and wrote some Computer language stuff while the Screen was Black and i rebooted it and the Computer worked .. Then Secondly, i tried Updating it directly from Windows as i got a File from Toshiba website which said was for Direct Windows upgrade ( sll0v150.exe ) but when i tried clicked it to upgrade the BIOS, it opened but just Stopped later and gave Error Report : IHISI Not Support for Current BIOS !!! BIOS was not Upgraded ... She really wants to Upgrade the BIOS first, then increase the Memory from 2GB to 4BG and then Install Windows 8.1 x64bit on it . Currently the Laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate x32 bit ( Formerly it was Home Premium but i helped her Upgrade it to Ultimate from Windows Upgrade anytime with a Genuine Key ) The Laptops Details is : Toshiba Satellite L510 (PSLGWL-002003) Intel Core i3 M330 @2.13GHZ Installed Ram 2GB , HDD 500GB, System type 32 bit current BIOS v1.10 .. I would be very glad is someone would help me to upgrade this BIOS successfully without Destroying or wrecking her Laptop .. Once again sorry for my Long Story and for maybe posting this Question on the Wrong Place ... Am new to this so Please Forgive me in Advance and go easy on a Lady .... Yes or downgrade to this version before flashing Modded One or Force to Flash without Version check in Platform.ini file ! Regards
