Many Bioses have the F10 function to show a Boot menu with a list of Peripherals to Boot from ! Have You actived this function ? Have You tried to flash Original One again to clear Bios and NVRAM ? Regards
I'm so dumb, because it's a laptop I forgot about clearing the bios settings. Although aren't bios settings stored in flash nowadays and the battery is only for the real time clock? Anyways I#ll try to remove the battery for an hour and see if that clears it.
Hello, I have a Acer Aspire V3-771 (noG) With Firmware version V1.15. I want to build a Hackintosh and need to change my Graphic Mem. But its locked by default. Does anybody have a modified (unlock) bios Version V1.15 ? It would realy help. Thanx.
Thank you very much for replying! It looks like it unlocked lots of features in the BIOS but it still has the whitelist and won't boot with the new card. These are the VIDs: OLD Wifi card: PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3090&SUBSYS_1453103C NEW Wifi card: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_40708086 I extracted the 4A538818-5AE0-4EB2-B2EB-488B23657022.MOD file using Phoenix /EFI/Dell SLIC Mod and was able to find the old wifi string: 14 18 90 30 3C 10 53 14. I assume I should replace it with 86 80 B1 08 86 80 70 40 and then pack it but I do not know how to repack it to make it a flashable .fd file again. Any help would be great. Thank you
