so, i sent the laptop to service, they flashed a good bios rom (an old one). do you know why it gave the bsod?
Hi friend, I think that Windows has saved into his settings ACPI parameters which remain active in Windows and are not into Bios as It's resetting by flashing Bios again ! I think You had have try to use a LiveCD USB with XP or Win7 to check if the issue was temporanely ! Regards
You have to rename Mod Files as original files PAV70D2.fd - PAV70D3.fd and replace into Insyde Bios original folder PAV70316, then use InsydeFlash to write Bios Mod. Let me know Regards P.S. It's Bios ver. 3.16 download original and unpack by 7Zip or Winrar
hello, it gave the bsod even at the install screen, i tried to install windows 7 but it crashed, it scared me an i tried the recovery procedure from usb stick (and that bricked the laptop) thank you for the help, should i try to flash again the moded bios?
Ok I will try, but don't know what Flas**t is. Where can I download it? I have a usb to reboot by DOS, may I use that to execute the commands?
