Hi I used the way I found here. USB formatted to FAT32. Filenames assembled from previous files, notebook name, model etc. with extensions: wph, fd, bin, rom. Pressed win + b, I seen different behaviour when bios touched all usb and dvd rom. Unfortunately I probably didn't guessed right filename. It doesn't matter anymore coz I enabled what was possible in bios and now I can't even turn on laptop. It turn on without memory though, but win + b doesn't work. If I put memory module back it doesn't start. I didn't get it. Resetting cmos doesn't help. Laptop is ready for throwing from the window...
Thanks Dario, but there is a problem as I said. I am not able to turn laptop on anymore. It blink for a milisecond and then immediately switch off. There is not a way how to activate recovery mode anymore. I am confused, I don't understand this behaviour.
Well, if resetting the CMOS isn't helping you may have to replace the BIOS chip and see if that helps at all. It would be rare, but it may be that it burnt out, or worse, your BIOS could have been a PROM chip and trying to flash it just messed it up completely.
virus? ......this files are from the original HP package ......probably your antivirus is dumbass what would be the file with virus?
Ok friend, your Bios sp51485.exe v.F.65 contains this file 360BF65.FD and openong It by PMTool 2.57 It say this : EFI / Insyde BIOS Recovery filenames are: B.bin C.bin So, as your Bios is not Crypted, You have to get this file 360BF65.FD rename to B.bin and C.bin (two files or copies of same file renamed) and put them into your USB Stick Dos Fat32 Formatted ! Now try to use the Recovery Procedure : - Shutdown the netbook (notebook) - Remove all peripheral devices - Remove battery, Remove AC power cord - Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds (battery and AC power still out), then release - Put the USB Memory Stick in the USB port - Hold "Fn" + "Esc" and plug the AC power cord in - Now press the power button (whilst still holding Fn + Esc). Wait until the fan will run, then release "Fn" + "Esc" keys - The fan will run for about 2-10 minutes and the USB drive activity LED will blink - I think the netbook rebooted automatically. If it doesn't, unplug the AC power cord once the fan has turned off The bios should be updated with the modified BIOS, and boot as per normal. In new HP model You have to use an HP tool to format USB and prepare It for Recovery Bios and at end You have rename USB Stick as HP_TOOLS, so then try to rename It too. Let me know Regards
EDIT: /\ oh okay, I just haven't heard of anything like that. Nope not my AV, Phoenix Tools version 258. Anyway, generally no one here messes with sp6xxxxx. BTW: BDMaster, any luck with getting vt on my bios?
Thanks for conclusion ZafotheNinja, I hope it is not the final. I'll give a try BDMaster. Thanks for nice guidance. Even in the most crazy dreams, I'll not get the idea about filenames "C" and "B". Pray for me guys. I love my laptop. I replaced the CPU there one year ago, repasted metal blocks with new better grease. It is just like my girlfriend lol. I let you know guys. Theo
