Hi there, I am novice about all that for Bios, I have a lappy HP G6 2264sa Insyde... with Cpu intel core i3 2370m After a unsuccessfully try for update to bios now only read the HDD and and try to recover the older version of bios without success. I read the partition of hdd hp-tools but there is a file 0183F26.BIN So I change the flash memory cheap with a new and I try make a copy with a programmer (from the old cheap to the new) but nothing change. (the motherboard of my laptop is: 680568-501) Also the model is: C5J50EA#ABU and the system board I.D: 1841 Where I could find the exe file because HP gives I think the name of the bios file must be something like that 01841F25.BIN or 01841.bin (which one is the correct ?) But when uncompress the sp66805.exe with 7-unzip take a binary with the name 0183F26.BIN not that 01841F25.BIN as I was expecting. Also that Bios file 0183F26.BIN I think is encrypt ? What I could to do? Please help me. Thank you. Thanks
Thank you for your respond. I couldn't use that option to recovery from USB drive because my HP G6 not recognise the presence of USB stick. Also in the sp66805.exe I couldn't find that 01841F25.BIN as I was expecting. ( My system board I.D: 1841) I guess maybe that binary file 0183F26.BIN in that sp66805.exe is not compatible with my system board. I need a bin file with name 01841.bin I am not sure and I don't know what I could to do now
