ok that error | i thought you are asking me to explain error itself | pl be clear in your query | tell me your mobo spec so that i can provide you full support.
to be very clear you must set your BIOS for legacy or efi install or else you will always encounter errors for especially win7 install direct after instsallation at POST OOBE phase right when system files are loaded. first let me know your installation scenario plus mobo spec so that i can support. or if you think that you can do everything by yourself then what to say ?
BIOS is set to UEFI + LEGACY and HDD is set to AHCI. Mobo is MSI H81I. So it SHOULD work in the first place, which is not the case. And what makes you so sure i have RST enabled and CSM disabled? You seem to have no clue whatsoever, DEAR.
first of all you must set bios to either legacy or efi but not set both. why i ask you to do this will let you know later. ok to be very clear you dont need any tool for installation of win7 on this mobo . just copy install wim from win7 & paste it to a working win10 iso sources directory overriting the one thats already inside for a EFI install. or for legacy install directly use the iso you are having then install simplix update pack on current installed os plus drivers & other third party tools you need for your daily working. thats all you can do to get rid of any error you are facing now.
there is no option in the BIOS for legacy, only UEFI or UEFI + legacy. Nevermind though, i will fix this myself tomorrow when i am not so tired.
ok do as per your needs. if i have this mobo then i will always go for EFI install with win10 iso right after install wim from win 7 is copy pasted to it.
Do you know that? Or maybe can you lead me to a good tutorial, with code examples how to create a setupcomplete.cmd and/or an unattended.cmd? I want to add some (silent) installers and want that it sets up one or two user accounts, with custom settings!
Pl go through here https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...etupcomplete-firstlogon-silent-install.73131/
by default there’s no drivers (you have to put it in yourself into the folder as you say) the purpose of the tool is mainly to integrate updates and other generic drivers
win7 image updater tool covers almost all needed drivers to install win7 os on any modern hardware . i always use those drivers for my custom Barebone win7 with sp1 simplixed updated image reproduction.
I will give POWIS a try the next few days, with my "Integrate7-MDL-Tweaked&Debloated.iso"... ;-) But Drivers are not my problem, i search for a way to integrate "Win7AndW2K8R2-KB3191566-x64", with Integrate7! Maybe, this setupcomplete.cmd from @Dark Dinosaur, would be helpfull. Or i can do this with this POWIS thing. I don't know...
Yes Both of theese People have vast knowledge . there tools are very very useful . i also use there script tools for my daily tasks
